standing
beneath
the black stone arch
ancient
markings
sigils of an alien magic
at the peak
where the mountain
and the stars embrace
THE LOVERS
past and future
drawn beyond
time
in the gravity
of ZEPAR
in the place
where LUCIFER fell
a headstone lit by lightning and fire from phantom candles
beneath a frail HANGED MAN
moved
by BIFRONS
the empty grave
a CHARIOT
an invitation of ANDRAS
come freely of thine own will
for the sacrifice must be made
DEATH
has been drawn
dissolve
this tragic life
go without fear
the womb and the tomb are one
endless fields
a frozen wasteland
you will end where you begin

Jordan Vauvert
Joseph Hawker subverts the musical and sociopolitical status quo with a black metal triptych that's as incendiary as it is impressionistic. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 5, 2022
Oakland, CA quartet LYCUS return with a new album on Relapse Records. Heavy, epic, mournful, and replete with art by Paolo Girardi. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 5, 2016
[...]This German band prefers to keep the music simple and bereft of diversions. In a way the presentation is rather formulaic and falls back on the basic elements and aspects of the genre. A slow progression of the chords, vocals as well as drums that work as a counterpoint and are performed in sync with the guitars. The sound is massive and at times like a wall of noise[...]
